MESSAGE FROM PASTOR HOWARD

Spring has arrived, our Easter Celebration is behind us and we look forward to the new life that spring presents us, as well as the New Life Christ has given us. For many with the onset of summer comes the time to relax and kick back awhile, but with Christ, and the work of His Church, it is a time to burst forth in the joy of the New Life we have received and to find ways to share it with others. God's gift of salvation needs to be shared with all - so that everyone may come to know God's love and forgiveness. It's a time for us to spring forth in service in Christ's name. Summer may be a time to relax but it is also a time to regroup and reorganize. With the summer months, we have an opportunity to spruce things up, paint, plant and invite folks into our Church.

This year Vacation Bible School will be occurring in August, Sunday, August 13 through Thursday, August 17, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM; we will be sharing the Love of Christ with the Youth of our community. If you would like to help or know of someone who might like to attend, please call the office at 609.561.0168.

I am looking forward to the summer months, a time to relax and kick back, but I am also excited about the New Life Christ is bringing to our Church. New faces, new attitudes, new thoughts, new looks, and new energy are all a part of how God reveals the New Life Christ has given us. Together we are the hands and feet of God carrying out His Mission and Ministry as Christ's people ad church. As the Apostle Paul writes in First Corinthians 13:27-31, "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it and God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But strive for the greater gifts and I will show you a still more excellent way". What gift has God given you that you might share with His Church. Together, using God's gifts he has blessed you with, we shall reveal a more excellent way of living and serving as the people of God. To God be the Glory. AMEN!
